Objectives
1. To consolidate on-going collaborative research actions.
2. To develop research interactions among Brazilian, US and European institutions in collaboration with Labex Europe aiming priority areas.

COORDINATION ACTIVITIES
1. To develop processes to incorporate researchers to the new research areas at Labex: Animal Health, Forest Management, Bioenergy, Genetic Resources
2. To strength Embrapa collaboration with research institutions [Universities, Museums, Research Services] in North America.
3. To forge sustainable partnership between ARS and Embrapa at strategic program level.
4. To establish networks of collaboration between Brazilian and US institutions in key research themes such as Huangolongbing, conservation and interchange of genetic resources, to improve networking between US and Brazilian researchers in Animal Health, Bioenergy, Capsicum research and agrochemical-drug discovery.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
The effect of temperature on survival of the psyllid and transmission of Liberibacter

Research Activities:
1. To establish a network of collaboration with Embrapa entomologists and phytopathologists;
2. To define sampling/collection/methology for insect/disease identification;
3. To determine the effect of temperature on survival of the psyllid and transmission of Liberibacter
4. To collect and to perform data analysis.
